    约翰・威尔逊所辑埃里克・科茨的音乐作品第四卷，开篇曲目为《乐声满人间》。这首激昂振奋的进行曲是英国首家独立广播电视机构「雷德迪夫森广播公司」的委约之作，亦被该台定为台呼主题曲。音乐会圆舞曲《舞台灯影》，一曲咏赞生命的华章，勾勒出两次世界大战间隙伦敦西区的纸醉金迷与风华绝代；这首作品的创作完成，距离二战爆发仅有数周。 而事实证明，战争年代里，人们对这类明快愉悦、振奋军心的乐曲，有着前所未有的迫切渴求。科茨的《致吾所爱》（副标题《纪念曲》）于 1940 年 3 月 14 日首演，而就在那一周，英国正式推行战时肉类配给制。《三只小熊幻想曲》是科茨为幼子奥斯汀所作，乐曲将经典的金凤花姑娘童话，全然赋予了二十世纪二十年代的音乐风格。《从郊野芳甸到梅菲尔》，映射出科茨本人的人生轨迹 —— 从诺丁汉郡的乡野故土，奔赴伦敦的都市生活。作于 1928 年的《星光之下》，是科茨的创作中首次将中音萨克斯纳入管弦乐配器的作品，为其配器风格添上了全新笔触。《四个世纪》组曲，是科茨最具分量的代表作之一；这份厚重，既源于作品的篇幅时长，也体现在所需的管弦乐团编制规模之上。组曲的四个乐章，分别凝练复刻出十七、十八、十九与二十世纪的经典音乐风格。这部作品是科茨献给妻子菲莉丝的礼赞，亦是二人一生挚爱舞蹈的美好颂歌。
