SAULT - Air 2022 [FLAC-16-44.1]

SAULT’s 6th LP, Air, is a stunning and suspenseful record. This is my first time really listening to this genre of music, and I want to hear more after listening to this album. I love the how the choir sounds when layered behind the serene and beautiful orchestra. My favorite track was the title track, which featured beautiful strings and an awesome piano bit near the end.

This is SAULT as you've never heard them before. This album is expansive, awe-inspiring and here to stay unlike 2021's 'Nine'. As the alternative cover suggests, it sounds like the soundtrack to a thrilling space movie. Inflo's orchestral production and choral arrangements are as impressive as they were on Little Simz's masterpiece 'Sometimes I Might Be Introvert'. Unfortunately, Cleo Sol's vocals only appear on a couple of tracks which can leave the album feeling a little formless.
