  Destiny's Child（天命真女合唱团）这支城市蓝调音乐四人组有Beyonce Knowles（1981年9月4日出生于美国德克萨斯州休斯顿）、leToya Luckett（1981年3月11日出生于美国德克萨斯州休斯顿）、LaTavia Roberson（1981年11月1日出生于出生于美国德克萨斯州的休斯顿）和Kelendria Rowland（1981年2月11日出生于美国德克萨斯州休斯顿）。 Beyonce Knowles和LaTavia Roberson两人在年仅10岁的时候就开始一起唱歌。Kelendria Rowland于1992年加入到这两个人中，leToya Luckett也在随后的一年加入，组成了如今的四人演唱组。这个四人组合的名称是从《圣经》里得到启迪，取自《以赛亚书》里的一个章节。经过团员的变动后她们在大西洋两岸获得成功，后者取自于电影《霹雳娇娃》（Charlie's Angels），这首歌在英美两个国家都登上了排行榜的首位。
