정통 hard rock 타이틀곡 ‘RING ma Bell (what a wonderful world)’로 압도적인 성장세를 이어가는 빌리는 미니 3집 OST 앨범 ['the Billage of perception: chapter two Original Soundtrack from “the end of the world and the awakening]을 선보이며 전 세계 많은 팬들에게 빌리만의 공고한 세계관을 각인시킨다.
빌리는 기존 K-POP scene에서 찾기 힘든 독창적인 접근으로 발표하는 음반마다 함께 선보이는 단편 영화를 통해 빌리를 둘러싼 방대한 서사를 이어나가고 있다. 유니크하면서도 감각적인 연출로 잘 알려진 쟈니브로스 홍원기 감독, 조윤영 작가, 멜로망스 정동환 등의 다양한 분야의 대표적인 아티스트가 콜라보하여 만들어가는 작품은, 기존 KPOP 아티스트들의 컨셉 영상과 완전히 차별되는 컨셉과 이야기의 작품이라고 평가받고 있다.
이번 OST 앨범에는 전작 [the collective soul and unconscious: chapter one Original Soundtrack from "what is your B?"]에서 함께 했던 멜로망스의 정동환이 빌리의 발표곡들을 모티브로 하여 전혀 새로운 스코어로 총 11곡의 소품으로 완성시켰다.
빌리의 악곡들을 모티브로 한 스코어 음악들은 ‘the end of the world and the awakening’ 내 구성되어 있는 빌리의 세계관에 입각한 설정과 장치들을 Cuban Jazz, Jazz Waltz, Tango, Neo-Clssic, Progressive Jazz, Concerto 등의 다양한 장르의 음악으로 재해석하였으며, 빌리만의 ‘은유적 서사시'로써 매 씬마다의 감정선을 절묘하게 극대화하며 K-POP scene에서의 새로운 영상 작품의 지평을 열고 있다.
